After a recent article that brought together interviews Kevin Feige has had with various outlets. The door was left open just a crack that we might see stars from the Netflix MCU shows appear either in movies or on the new Disney+ shows. It now seems like it may be happening sooner than anyone thought.
First reported via ComicBook back in December Charlie Cox is suspected of being part of Spider-Man 3. Apart from being seen on the set it’s now being reported that he’s finished filming for the movie with speculation being rife that he is reprising his role as Matt Murdoch, potentially to try and aid Spiderman with his legal problems.
This rumour has gone back to April of last year where Charlie Cox was asked if he was involved in Spider-Man 3, something he strongly denied
I hadn’t heard those rumors, but it’s certainly not with my Daredevil. I’m not involved in it,” Cox told us. “If that’s true, it’s not with me. It’s with another actor.Charlie Cox, via ComicBook
It’s worth noting though that back in April 2020 the rights were still with Netflix for Daredevil, they have since reverted back to Marvel Studio’s meaning they could now put him in the movie.
On a personal level I really enjoyed Daredevil and Jessica Jones and would love to see them back in the MCU.
